Together we will dive into memories of places that shaped our identity. Through performative means we will question their shapes and structures, experiment with new ones, re-structure ourselves, re-organize, re-act, re-locate and relate to each other. Body-memory. To find new futures of togetherness we will leave behind what doesn’t suit us anymore. Like old patterns. Or we will just look at the beauty that chaos creates sometimes. We will see. Into the street and into the sky. Maybe we have more in common than we think. This workshop works with the body and our place within territory and public space. Part of it will unfold in outdoor public space, inviting direct engagement with the surrounding environment.

Janne Schröder (1995) is a performer, choreographer, and artistic researcher. She explores movement as a sensorial and collective experience, combining it with writing and theatre to question social structures and imagine new ways of inhabiting the city. She holds a Master’s in Performing Public Space (NL) and a BA in Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice (GER). Since 2020, she is part of the artistic direction of PELE (Porto), where she develops community-based interventions. In 2025, she joined FAICC by Instável – Choreographic Centre. Her current research focuses on radical tenderness as a performative tool for social transformation.
